Novabeast Proto Visor
I am now proud to present my highly anticipated Protogen-style visor for Novabeasts!
DISCLAIMER - Please read
The visor doesn't really clip anywhere, except for the fins on the side of the visor (and maybe the tongue if you have that out on your avi). These are prone to clipping into the cheek fluff when you move around as the fluff moves with the physbones, so some poses may clip more than others. If this is an issue, feel free to disable the fins entirely using the in-game toggle!
Additionally this visor asset will include multiple versions. The base version will include the main visor asset with all of its customization options, where as the second version (still WIP) will include more accessories and toggles for additional customizations.
REFITS
Use an edited version of the Novabeast model and want proper support for the edited version?
As long as the edited model is available publicly/for free, feel free to contact me with a link to the edit and I will work on adding support at my earliest convenience.
If you use a private edit or some kind of paid edit to the base that would require refitting, I probably won't be able to do much.

CONTENTS
Note - Only the visor asset is included with this purchase. Any other assets pictured in image previews are sold separately/not created by me. All credit to those go to their original creators.
Included in the purchase is a unity package file with a VRCFury prefab already set up and ready to go. The prefab uses Poiyomi Toon shaders, though you can swap the material out for anything you would like. Please note that the prefab is intended to be used with the default avatar, and any edited versions may have slight incompatibilities. If you have adjusted any of the proportions of your avatar beyond the original limits, there may be increased clipping, incorrect weighting, or other issues. Included in the downloads is a .blend file that you can use to adjust the model as needed, preferred fbx export settings can be found in the images. The texture maps are packaged within the unity file, and a variety of maps are included for you to use if you want to swap the shaders out for something else.
FUNCTIONALITY
The visor asset comes as a prefab that can be dragged and dropped onto the root of your avatar in Unity, which will automatically set it up for use in-game. You can update/upload your avatar after without tweaking any settings if you wish! The base materials the prefab comes with are made using Poiyomi Pro, and feature support for LTCGI Reflections. If you use another shader or unlock the material to a non-pro version of Poiyomi, some features may break.
The visor comes with a bunch of in-game customizable toggles, which are listed in the preview images above. For sake of readability, I shall recap them here:
Toggles for the visor fins, the face, the mouth, and the pixel grid effect
Slider to customize the hue of the face emission
Toggleable open/close animations with 4 different variations (smooth/smooth hidden face | bounce/bounce hidden face)
The visor asset also features rudimentary lip-sync, with mouth movements that sync to your microphone volume as well as a glow effect that gets brighter when speaking. The visor DOES come with full lip-sync visemes, however VRC will not let me set two separate meshes as lip-sync targets properly. If you wish, you can merge the visor asset to your main avatar mesh using Blender and get it working that way, though you will likely need to redo all of the controller stuff. I will work on a package that includes separated controller components for users that wish to go this route. Perfect Blender export settings will be found in the images/file download section when applicable.
